Move like you mean it.

For Michelle Watson, Founder and Creative Director of MICHI, this is the mantra of the modern woman.

A New York-based fashion designer by day and fitness enthusiast by night, Michelle saw an opportunity to empower women through high-end activewear. Her vision? Styles that could seamlessly transition from the boardroom to the boxing ring.

Fuelled by her entrepreneurial spirit, Michelle left her job at Ralph Lauren and launched MICHI from her Manhattan apartment. Her goal: to create versatile, sophisticated pieces for women who juggled meetings before jogging or squeezed in ab crunches after business brunches.

To Michelle’s dismay, clothing quality had plummeted. They would pull, pill, or look cheap—think frumpy sweatpants, loud logos, or neon overload. MICHI was her answer: timeless, elegant, and sustainable activewear designed to look good, feel great, and last.

For Michelle, sustainability isn’t just about materials—it’s about empowering women to craft their identity, defy expectations, and move with confidence.

MICHI isn’t just activewear—it’s a symbol for women who refuse to settle for less in their style, their work, or their lives.
